[ The Art of Shooting a Carrot – The title The Art of Shooting a Carrot is a title that has something proverbial about it. The tricky thing about Dutch proverbial-like titles is that they are difficult to translate into English. But personally, I always find that challenging. Translating this title literally into English gives it an extra layer. As if there is some kind of “skill” involved. The Art of Shooting a Carrot. The word shooting here gets something of the well-known term photoshooting in the sense of photoshooting a carrot. But of course I don’t need to explain here that it is actually about grounding in earthly existence, landing on earth. And that you cannot land until you have flown’. ]
