In februari 2025 kreeg ik het idee kreeg om de fladderende vogel een eigen podium te geven. In al mijn werk bevonden zich slechts drie fladderende koolmezen die de ballotagecommissie hadden overleeft. Tijd voor een groter podium dus. De geometrische schaduwen onstaan door de podiumbelichting van de kleine ruimte en vormen als het ware het schaduwkabinet achter de fladderende vogel. Door dit schaduwspel krijgt de romantische fladderigheid een formeel kader en onthult een abstracte wereld achter de fladderende vogel.
[ Geometrics with Fluttering Titmouse – In February 2025, I got the idea to give the fluttering bird its own stage. In all my work, there were only three fluttering tits that had survived the balloting committee. So time for a bigger stage. The geometric shadows are created by the stage lighting of the small space and form, as it were, the shadow cabinet behind the fluttering bird. This shadow play gives the romantic fluttering a formal framework and reveals an abstract world behind the fluttering bird. ]
